Frequently asked questions

Will large integers lose precision?

No. Numeric literals are preserved, including IDs beyond the JavaScript safe integer range, trailing decimal zeros, and scientific notation.

Can repair change my data?

It may. Repair attempts to add missing quotes and remove trailing commas or comments. Inferences may differ from your intent, so check the result. Duplicate keys are rejected to avoid silent overwrites.

How is JSON converted to XML?

The root element is json. Object properties use member elements with name attributes, arrays use item elements, and type attributes preserve types. There is no universal mapping standard; adapt it to the receiving system.

Is my input saved?

JSON content is not uploaded or saved automatically. Your input is not retained after closing or leaving the tool page.
