Your files stay on your device.
Local tool inputs
Images, PDFs, text and QR contents are processed in your current browser. They are not sent to our server, feedback system or error logs. We do not automatically save tool inputs. Preview URLs are released when results change or you leave the page. You manage downloaded files yourself.
Favorites and browser storage
Favorite tool identifiers are stored in browser localStorage under qingtools:favorites:v1. No filenames, file contents, Wi-Fi passwords or text inputs are saved. Remove favorites or clear this site's browser data to delete them.
Language preference
Your first visit selects Chinese or English from your browser language. After a manual switch, the qingtools-language cookie stores your choice for one year solely to remember the interface language. Change languages again or clear this site's cookies to remove it. Both languages share your favorites in the current browser.
Feedback you choose to submit
The feedback form sends the selected type, message and optional email. The server stores these fields with an ID and timestamp for troubleshooting, replies and improvements. Do not submit sensitive information. The default code does not send email automatically; providing an email lets the operator reply.
Request information and abuse prevention
To limit feedback frequency, the server temporarily stores a hashed request identifier and count in memory for up to 10 minutes. These are not written to feedback files. Hosting providers or reverse proxies may retain access logs; the operator must specify their retention policy for deployment.
Advertising and third-party services
The default version loads no ads or analytics. If the operator configures AdSense and a certified consent platform, the consent script loads first and ad loading depends on its status. Google and consent providers may process request, device and consent information. Regional rules must be configured and this policy updated before ads are enabled.
Feedback retention and deletion requests
Feedback is stored in the operator's server directory without an automatic deletion schedule by default. The operator should set retention periods and remove unnecessary feedback. Request access or deletion using the Privacy & data feedback type and include the submission time or feedback ID. Do not publish personal information on the page.
What local processing means
Keeping files local does not mean visiting this website produces no network requests. Pages, scripts, fonts and images must load, and submitting feedback sends information to the server. Any future feature requiring uploads will explain where and why data is processed first.
